      • It really is dragging on. I saw a doctor about 4 months ago. She refused to give me antibiotics, said to take 600mg ibuprofen and use a neti pot. At that time it was just a sinus infection. I followed that advice for a couple months until it then drained into the chest. Saw a different doctor who gave me some strange antibiotic for now sinus infection with bronchitis. The weird antibiotics simply didn’t work! The lymph node under my left side jaw is swollen and so painful! As is the entire side of my esophagus all the way down to my collarbone, up through to my left ear and of course my jaw. Cough is nasty and may be contributing to sore throat. If not improved by the weekend, I’ll see doc again. A simple Z pack would’ve knocked it right out in the beginning but the doctors here in Missouri, I’m discovering are weirdly resistant to using antibiotics.

      • Oh gosh! I know there’s a lot of controversy about over-prescribing antibiotics, but sheesh, it sounds like they’ve let this progress to a dangerous–and certainly painful degree. I’m praying mightily–but I’m getting frustrated on your behalf–it’s impacting too much territory in your body, for crying out loud! Well, the Lord knows best and HE is Sovereign…I just hate to have you missing out on the fun of the holidays, dragging around like a limp rag! I’m such a mama-bear–and attach myself to people pretty easily. So I’ll now be “nagging” God 🙂 And you WILL be healed!! ❤

    • Hey! Me too! Lol.
Holidays are just miserable when you’re sick. Was wonderful to see our youngest 2 kids and daughter in law. She’s starting to show now with baby bump. 😊
I missed you too though and glad to he back.💕
Hope you had a wonderful holiday.

    • Awww thank you so much! Still the same sinus infection turned bronchitis. The antibiotics just didn’t work. Due to the lessening effectiveness of antibiotics because of over use, doctors in our state are resistant to prescribing them ( which is why Ive been fighting this for months) and when they do, they start with weak versions ( which is why I’m ever sicker now) I seldomly see a doctor so had they just given me a Z-pac I’d been all better months ago. Grrrrrr….
