Sharing my world III

If a distant uncle dies and you were always his favorite and leaves you $50,000 (any currency) in his will, what would you do?

Being my favorite Uncle, I’m thinking we’d have been kindred spirits, therefore he’d have wanted for me to adventure. I’d book 3 vacations. 1st to the UAE to visit my brother  who’s living and working there. He too, is a kindred spirit and full of adventure. I want to see the clouds below his apartment, ride a camel, stand on the desert dunes of sand and meet a million different people from all over the world.                                                                    20180115_125603

Next, we’re going to Scotland to track our ancestors followed by revisiting Ireland (and ancestors), the land I fell in love with. The last but most important is Israel. I want to pray near the wall, walk the paths I’ve heard of my whole life and I want to see Petra.                                          FB_IMG_1473543184004

What sound or sounds do you love?

My grandbabies laughter, my husband snoring softly beside me, church bells, babbling Brooks, and my mothers voice.

What’s your middle name?  Why?

Michelle. I have no idea why I’m named Laura Michelle. The only thing I do know is that my mother wanted to name me Tandy Tane! Thank God my father intervened! Lol

What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week?

Family visiting, with shopping, wine tasting and family game night.

  1. I love the 2nd photo of the clouds!

Thought provoking questions. I have no idea what I’d do with a $50,000 windfall. There are so many possibilities.

I’m very sound sensitive when I’m not 100% – which I’m not right now because of this ongoing eye issue. I think I’d really like the sound of quiet most.

Middle name is Ruby. Nope, no idea why.

What made me smile this week? Binge watching comedies with my husband. He has the kind of laugh that makes me laugh. I basically just laugh at him laughing during a movie 😆
