A Beautiful Sad by Recovery uncensored
Wow. This is so raw, honest, riveting and real. Relatable to everyone whose lives, families have been or is, touched by addiction. Stunningly vulnerable and brave. Bravo, Marc. Thank you so much for giving us this rare glimpse through the keyhole, of addiction.
Hugs & prayers
Love Love Love this! In this post, Cheri shares a glimpse into the contrasts of the childhood of 3 generations,
hers, her Nana’s and her fathers with unflinching honesty, perspective and grace.
She balances nostalgia, the dynamics of relationship.
and the handed down, age old wisdoms of the depression era that have become practical yet again in today’s world.
” Our older generations lived through tough times. Every little line and wrinkle on their skin has a beautiful story to tell. We all need to listen to what they say and then pass this on to each and every generation out there.”
Our Little Red House Blog is not only one of my all time favorites, Cheri is one of my favorite people and I know you’ll love her too!
“The best lessons I’ve learned about growth has come from gardening.”
Another of my favorite blogs and people is Brenda @ Camellias Cottage. In the beautifully written article, Brenda shares with us what she’s learned about personal growth in every area, through her garden and the power of engagement and community so we’re sure to grow in the right way. While I love this post, it is but one amongst all the ones that I love on Brenda’s blog. She never fails to offer beautifully written, insightful and inspiring articles.

“Life tends to live up to the expectations you have of it. It is worth imagining a future in which you are happy.”

We Taste Every Word Twice
by Michelle Cook @ Her Writing Haven
I dont usually include poetry, not that I dislike it. In fact, I written poetry since I was about 8 yrs old and I’ve read libraries of it. The majority of the poetry I run across today are as clumsy as my own, with the imagery of sepia toned photos taken with unfocused lens. But on rare occasion, I stumble upon one that is striking. A poem you read in slow motion, catching the lyric and melody of the words forming on your lips as though committing them to memory. This, for me is just such a poem.
I don’t even want to say too much about this offering…to give it all away. I want for you, the discovery of it. I will say this, do you need a smile today, some warmth, inspiration….that wordless thing you can only feel with the heart? Dwight Roth delivers it right here.
